Evil Geniuses, often abbreviated as EG, is one of the oldest North American professional gaming organisations. Founded in 1999, EG is known to have highly successful players in every competitive game they feature and is considered by many to be one of the most premier gaming organisations that exist today. EG was previously a member of the G7 Teams association.

LGD Gaming began as For The Dream, which won SMM 2009, later that year FTD was sponsored by LGD. The team has been a powerhouse of the Chinese scene ever since.

Virtus.pro often abbreviated as VP, is a well-established Russian esports organization, mostly famous for their teams in CS:GO and Dota 2.

Quincy Crewis a North American team originally assembled to compete in the 2018/19 Dota Pro Circuit. The team was later reformed to compete in the 2019/20 Dota Pro Circuit.

Invictus Gaming is the result of Wanda Enterprise director Wang Sicong acquiring Catastrophic Cruel Memory. The team was founded in August 2011 and has divisions for Dota 2, Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

T1 (formerly SK Telecom T1) is a professional esports organization. Originally founded in Korea in 2002 as Brood War team Orion by BoxeR before being title-sponsored by SK Telecom in 2004, they are mainly known for their StarCraft division's exploits and their three-time World Champion League of Legends division. By 2019, they had also entered into Artifact and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and on August 22nd, they announced their entry into DotA 2 by signing Forev, making them just the second of the old KespA organizations to open a DotA division and the first Korean organization to do so since MVP Phoenix disbanded after TI6.

Vici Gaming is a Chinese esports organization.

After Natus Vincere and Fnatic both underperformed at The International 2014, two key members of the two organizations, Kuroky and N0tail, respectively, had an idea for a team that was run by the players, not beholden to any esports organization. Kuroky brought on his friend and teammate on Na'Vi, Puppey, while N0tail brought on his friend and teammate, Fly. They rounded out their roster with Alliance midlaner s4, whose team similarly underperformed at TI4. The roster made their public debut in the qualifiers for Star Ladder Star Series Season 10.

Team Aster is a Chinese professional Dota 2 team created by Xu "BurNIng" Zhilei and "XiaoFei".

Alliance is a gaming organisation founded by Team Razer and Alex Garfield in April 2013. Since its formation, the team has been a staple amongst the best European Dota 2 teams.

beastcoast is a North American esports organization, founded in July 2017. They started a bootcamp in Brazil for their Dota 2 team during the DPC 2019-2020, however they moved to Peru shortly after.

Thunder Predator (formerly known as Thunder Awaken) is a South American eSports organization. Their name was changed due to a sponsorship from Acer's Predator brand.

Team Undying (formerly known as Undying) is a professional Dota 2 team that was formed during DPC 2021.

SG esports (formerly known as SG e-sports) is a Brazilian professional gaming organization. By winning the South American qualifiers for the Kiev Major in 2017, they became the first Brazilian team to participate in a Major tournament organized by Valve. They also ended a 2-year drought of South American teams not appearing at Majors

OG was created as the new team of former (monkey) Business players. The team's breakthrough came at the Frankfurt Major in late November, 2015. They fought through the lower bracket, defeating TI5 champions Evil Geniuses and runner-ups CDEC Gaming. By winning the 2017 Kiev Major, OG became the first team in Dota 2 history to win four Dota Major Championships. In August 2018, OG became the first team to win The International from the open qualifiers. The grand finals of the event were the subject of a 2018 episode of "True Sight", making OG the only team to be featured in the series more than once. In August 2019, OG became the first team to win more than one TI by winning TI9, also becoming the first back-to-back TI winners in the history of the game.

Team Spirit is a Russian esports organization founded in 2015. The organisation signed its first team in Dota 2 on the 6th of December by acquiring CIS Rejects.

The team was initially a joint venture by the organization 4AM and Elephant. However, due to disagreement on the plans that emerged on November 15th, 4AM dropped out from the project. The team renamed to Elephant on November 16th.

Fnatic is a professional gaming organization with registered offices in England, Australia and the Netherlands. Fnatic is considered as a European team. Founded by Sam Mathews with Joris Van Laerhoven and Anne Mathews in 2004, and mainly operating out of their London offices, Fnatic has fielded numerous well known professional gamers in a variety of eSports titles, in particular their Scandinavian Counter-Strike Global Offensive team as well as VoO in Painkiller. Fnatic has won the eSports Award Team of The Year in 2006, and 2009. During 2007-2008 Fnatic welcomed Neil Kirk (co-founder TCM Gaming). After playing several years for Fnatic, Patrik "cArn" Sättermon, one of the best CS:1.6 players became the Chief Gaming Officer of Fnatic in 2012. Since 2013, Anne Mathews took over the position of Sam Mathews as the CEO of Fnatic. Sam Mathews still remains as a Chairman in the organisation.
