The professional Counter-Strike 2 scene in 2026 has been incredibly busy. Tournaments follow one after another with minimal breaks, and the world’s best teams are competing almost every month. This calendar will help you navigate the world of CS2 tournaments in 2026 – from Majors to the prestigious championships in the BLAST, ESL and PGL series. Major CS2 tournament series

The professional Counter-Strike 2 scene is supported by several key organisers who run tournaments all year round.

BLAST is a series of high-production-value championships held several times a year in different regions around the world. BLAST tournaments bring together top teams to compete for prestigious trophies, and the prize pool can exceed $1 million. For example, BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 has a prize pool of $1,150,000, whilst BLAST Open Fall 2026 has a prize pool of $1,100,000.

ESL is one of the oldest and most recognisable tournament organisers in CS. The IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) and ESL Pro League are held under the ESL brand. In 2026, ESL organised S-Tier tournaments, including the IEM Cologne Major – which was awarded official Major status for the first time in history – as well as IEM Beijing 2026 with a prize pool of $1,250,000 and ESL Pro League Season 24 with a prize pool of $300,000. 

IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) is a legendary tournament series which, in 2026, included IEM Kraków (IEM Katowice 2026 had previously been on the calendar, but a decision was made to move it to another Polish city), IEM Rio, IEM Atlanta, the IEM Cologne Major and IEM Bejing. These are among the most prestigious competitions in the world of CS2.

Current CS2 tournament schedule for 2026 (July–December)

Following the conclusion of the Cologne Major, the competitive calendar briefly slows down before the second half of the season begins. The second half of the season kicks off at the end of July and will conclude with the second Major of the year – the PGL Major Singapore 2026.
